If you have kids around, this task might be hard for you to perform, which means you have to keep the pot in a place where you can easily monitor your plant.

The last disadvantage is that this type of plant grows slowly and you will need a lot of space. There are cherry tomatoes that are available in the market that come with larger size so you might want to check them out first before investing your money in that certain plant. Aside from the fact that it takes a lot of work and time, it can also be expensive. For example, one tomato plant can cost you more than two pounds.
